The Contec CMS50QB is intended to measure the oxygen saturation level (SpO2) and heart rate of children. This device is also suitable for people with small hands.

 

For children and people with small hands

Sometimes it is necessary to measure the oxygen saturation of our child, especially if your child uses (temporarily) supplemental oxygen. We also recommend you to use a pulse oximeter if your child has a lung infection, asthma or heart problems. Measuring oxygen saturation can be quite exciting for children: the designers of the CMS50QB have taken this into account. The design of this paediatric pulse oximeter is childfriendly: the supplied neck strap has a playful animal print that will reassure your child. You can choose from the colors blue and pink.

 

Easy-to-use

The Contec CMS50QB Paediatric Pulse Oximeter is easy-to-use and has 4 different display modes. With the “upside down mode” you can easily read the data while the device is on the fingertip of your child. The manufacturer of this product does not recommend using the oximeter during your child’s sporting activities; the measurement is only accurate while at rest. The battery does not need to be replaced: you simply charge it in the supplied battery charger. You can easily connect this charger to a USB port (laptop, computer) or to your wall socket with the USB plug adapter (DC) that comes with your oximeter. The CMS50QB is very energy efficient. If there is no finger in the device for 5 seconds, it will switch off automatically. The paediatric pulse oximeter is compact, lightweight and easy to transport with the neck cord. Take the pulse oximeter anywhere using the neck cord. Is it time to take a measurement? Simply disconnect the oximeter from the lanyard by pressing the quick-connect clip, and you’re ready to go.

 

Bright OLED display

The Contec CMS50QB Paediatric Pulse Oximeter has an advanced OLED display, so even when you take a measurement in the dark you can easily read your data. The bright display shows you relevant information on your oxygen saturation (SpO2), your precise heart rate and a graphical representation of your heart rate in blue.
