The EM-2400 incontinence stimulator is a battery operated pulse generator that stimulates the muscles of the pelvic floor by means of a vaginal or rectal electrode. The unit has a single controllable channel which the electrode is connected to.

The stimulator has 5 preset programmes. The programme type and the intensity of stimulation are controlled by push buttons.

Programme D
 Programme D is composed of 12 sections with varied pulse rates. Each section contains 30 contractions. The 2 seconds ramp time includes 1 second ramp up, and 1 second ramp down. The complete programme lasts 60 minutes with 360 contractions. It is repeated in a constant cyclic pattern. The details of the programme are given below.
